Are you a trained Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) looking for flexible event work?
At First Aid Cover, our ECAs are an essential link in the chain of care, supporting clinicians and ensuring patients receive the highest level of pre-hospital attention.
About the Role
As an ECA, you’ll assist senior clinicians in the assessment and management of patients at events.
You will:
- Support Paramedics, Nurses, and First Responders
- Assist with patient assessment, monitoring, and record keeping
- Operate within your scope of practice under clinical direction
- Ensure safe transfer and movement of patients when required
- Provide reassurance and communication to patients and event organisers
Requirements
Essential:
- Recognised ECA qualification or equivalent training
- Valid Enhanced DBS and BLS certification
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Experience in emergency or event medical care
- Manual handling and patient transport training
