At First Aid Cover, we provide professional medical support at events of all sizes – from small community gatherings to major festivals and sporting fixtures. We’re expanding our self-employed bank of staff and are seeking reliable, enthusiastic First Aiders to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a First Aider with First Aid Cover, you’ll play a key part in keeping event attendees safe and cared for.
You will:
- Deliver prompt and effective first aid in line with current training and protocols
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients on-site under the guidance of senior clinicians
- Support the wider medical team, including First Responders, Paramedics, and Nurses
- Maintain accurate patient report forms and uphold confidentiality standards
- Represent First Aid Cover with professionalism, empathy, and a calm attitude in every situation
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of event settings while contributing to a high-standard, patient-focused medical service.
Requirements
Essential:
- Recognised First Aid qualification (e.g. First Aid at Work, FREC 3, or equivalent)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
Desirable:
- Previous event or crowd medical experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working alongside NHS or private medical teams
