The popular charity event brought people together to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK, with professional medical support in place throughout the day to help ensure the event could be enjoyed safely.
The Challenge
Race for Life is a mass-participation event involving people of different ages, abilities and fitness levels, creating a varied range of potential medical requirements.
With participants completing the course alongside volunteers, event staff and spectators, the organisers required a reliable and responsive medical team capable of supporting a busy outdoor event environment.
The medical provision needed to ensure professional support was readily available throughout the event, while allowing the Race for Life programme to run smoothly.
